Posh baby slippers

So I was very bored the other day and got to sewing and creating with the larger scraps of material I had, and came up with these cute baby slippers, look a little posh.  Definitly not for outside use due to cotton bottoms.  But would make for great slippers.  Maybe a new addition to my store?  I will definitly have to work on them a bit.  Coming out a little bigger than the other and a little wider than the other.  But for my first attempt not bad! :)

I know, I know the picture quality sucks.  I did them at night and for some reason I still have to figure out how to use it at night, hahaha.   Oh well I will definitly add pictures when Lawna gets bigger and they will actually fit her.  Or I could just make smaller pair ?  Oh well I will get usded to these and make more.

Not just Diapers anymore

So I have now been looking around my sewing room and realizing that I have more then what I need laying around in boxes, shoe boxes and folders.  So what I have figure out is that I am not just doing to do cloth diapers anymore althou I was getting WAY more business when I was doing just diaps.  But I have so much more in me that I want to make that I am going to do all the things I love to make!

Here are just a few things I added to the list:

~ Fun N Funky Teether Knot Toys

And here are some things I will be adding shortly:

~ heat bags

~ aroma therapy heat bags

~ cold and hot bags

I will be adding these items shortly when I sell a few more items on etsy.  That way I can make more room in my store.  I don't want to have too many items then everyone might get bored of looking too much.  No offence to all my friends but I hate having to look threw 100's of items just to find something I like.  When I only notice one or two things.  But you know you want to look more just incase, but then that boredom sets in , and blah blah blah.

New product added to my list !

Here is the set that I had made for my customer, as well as a wet & dry bag.  A two in one design that I am also going to start making as well.  That way you don't have to carry two bags all the time.  One side is wet and the other dry, so convient!

Ok I have this special customer of mine who always gets me to make her a natural pads.  She is very sensitive, and anything too wet down there gets her a rash and even infections very easily.  So we came up with an idea to do all natural pads, with no water-proof barrier.  That means I did them with all natural organic fabric.  7 layers of thick absorbent organic terry cotton.

New cloth diaper idea brewing . . .

Ok so I have an idea brewing in my mind, since by daughter is getting these really bad rashes on her bottom.   They have been coming and going for a few months now, and I am unsure why.  I have tried using regular store boughten cloth diapers because  ithought maybe it was the fabric.  But she had never gotten them before.  But she was also used to regular baby food?  So I am thinking maybe now that she is eatting people food that here little body is not used to it and with the cloth she might be getting bad reactions.  So I am coming up with a new idea that will be reuable and trowawayable (thats not a real word I know!). 

I think I will make it a OS ? But am not sure yet.  I want to be able to use both cloth in the middle or the g diapers cloths.  That way it is not so guilty and you are still saving the earth at the same time.

I want to be able to use the outer like a cover, and then have snap in covers/water-proof material, so it is still somewhat breathable for the baby.  And then have the insert on the inside and either wash it and trow it in the washer or trow it in the compost/garbage.

Donut jems are in . . . Ok so I just got my jewels in yesterday and they look awesome, THANXS NANERS !!!  I will be making beautiful Teethier Necklaces with them.  I have many different size donuts and some jems as well.  I have so many ideas in my head that I cannot get them all out at once . . .

So I was talking with my naners the other day about some donut jewerly she found for me.  She is sending off some Donut beads, that I will be making into Teething rings.  My daghter is always pulling at my hair so now she will have something to play with and maybe my head aches will go away slightly, :)  I will be posting these on my etsy store when I have completed them.  If they are a good seller I might do some more ? ? ? We will see what they look like, there are so many different styles to choose from, my naners is making me wait to see what they look like. . . .
